Design meeting for South Park park

SEATTLE — People can comment on the design for redeveloping the park around South Park Community Center at 8319 Eighth Ave. S. from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday.

The site will have a spray park, synthetic turf field with a circular walking trail, outdoor fitness zone, LED lighting, ADA accessibility, sport court, off-leash area and parking, according to Seattle Parks and Recreation, which is holding the open house.
