$750K settlement for Boeing pollution

TUKWILA — The Boeing Co. has agreed to pay King County $750,000 to address violations of state and federal water quality and pollution control standards at Boeing's Military Delivery Center at 10002 E. Marginal Way S. in Tukwila, according to a press release from Puget Soundkeeper.

The settlement was reached on Wednesday with Puget Soundkeeper and Waste Action Project, nonprofits which sued Boeing in federal court to enforce provisions of the federal Clean Water Act, according to Katelyn Kinn, a staff attorney with Soundkeeper.
