SPU plans drainage, wastewater work

SEATTLE — Walnut Creek, California-based Brown and Caldwell said Seattle Public Utilities selected it to lead the planning process for the city's “Shape Our Water” initiative to improve the performance and resilience of Seattle's drainage and wastewater systems.

The four-year initiative would plan near- and long-term investment in partnerships, programs and projects while optimizing social and environmental benefits, the environmental engineering and construction firm said in a press release.
