Dredging starts in Keystone Harbor

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to start maintenance dredging today in Keystone Harbor on Whidbey Island.

American Construction is doing the work and will continue for about nine weeks. The goal is to dredge roughly 50,000 cubic yards and place the material along the shoreline on the east side of the harbor.
