$103M White River project moves forward

The White River Habitat Restoration Project is planned for this area in the north end of Sumner.

The completed project will give the White River safe places to go for flood protection and improve habitat for endangered species. The city said the gray area, shown inside the dotted lines in this rendering, is expected to be developed in the future.
