Ecology has $1.5M for flood projects

The state Department of Ecology announced it will be offering $1.5 million in grants to fund flood hazard planning projects. The agency is also offering $150,000 for emergency flood response projects.

This funding is awarded through the Flood Assistance Account Program. This is the first time this assistance has been offered in 12 years.
