Time to pay more attention to Seattle's trees?

Duwamish Waterway Park in South Park is an example of city efforts to save and restore green spaces in industrial areas.

In many people's imagination, trees and the Emerald City likely go hand in hand. However, for some areas of Seattle, especially low-income ones, asphalt and concrete are far more familiar sites.
