Kachess Dam safety project moves into final design stage

The dam’s reservoir contains about 239,000 acre-feet of water.

The Bureau of Reclamation has released the final environmental assessment and a finding of no significant impact for its planned project to improve the safety of Kachess Dam. The dam and project area are in Kittitas County, two miles north of Easton.
