Trucking firm turns food waste into compost at its Shelton mulch plant

The new composting system is covered by a roof, which protects piles of blended compost feedstock materials beneath.

Trucking and mulch-grinding business, Brady Trucking Co., is now operating a food waste composting system at its mulch production facility in Shelton. Operations started in May.
