WASHINGTON, D.C. — Three Washington state projects to restore salmon habitat will receive more than $28 million in federal grant funding, according to an announcement yesterday from U.S. senators Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray.
The grants were awarded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Transformational Habitat Restoration and Coastal Resilience Program. The funding was secured by senators Cantwell and Murray in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act.
