PSE to buy more wind farm power from Montana

BELLEVUE — Puget Sound Energy announced last week that it has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with Clearway Energy Group for a 315 MW wind farm under development in Montana.

PSE says that once it is operational, the Haymaker Wind Farm will contribute approximately 15% toward PSE's remaining need to meet its 2030 clean energy targets. That's enough energy to power about 116,000 average homes in its service territory.
