Federal grants will support renovation of community parks across the state

Snohomish County will receive $2 million for a second phase of improvements at Kayak Point Regional Park in Stanwood.

Five Washington parks have received federal grants from the national Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). The money will be used to significantly upgrade parks in Kent, Snohomish County, Pierce County, Othello, and Spokane Valley.
