Tacoma amps up EV charging options

TACOMA — The city of Tacoma announced Friday it had added 21 new electric vehicle (EV) chargers across seven city-operated parking lots and garages downtown.

Tacoma now has a total of 51 public EV chargers downtown, including 47 Level 2 chargers and two Level 3 DC fast chargers — and 13 more are scheduled to go live soon, the city said in a release.
