Comment on draft Tideflats area plan

TACOMA —The Tacoma Planning Commission is taking public comments on its Draft Tideflats Subarea Plan, released May 7.

The plan aims to create a coordinated approach to development, environmental review and strategic capital investments in the Tideflats, 5,000-acres of waterfront land in Commencement Bay, home to Tacoma and Pierce County's highest concentration of industrial and manufacturing activity.
