Seattle's first 'carbon positive' hotel opens in Pioneer Square

The 120-room Populus Seattle started welcoming guests on Thursday.

On a sunny Wednesday afternoon, flanked by potted ferns, flowers and greenery, developer Urban Villages ceremonially opened the doors to Populus Seattle at 100 S. King St. The boutique hotel started welcoming guests the following day.
