Flood grants for Sammamish homes

By JOURNAL STAFF

KING COUNTY — Yesterday, the King County Flood Control District launched a $1 million grant opportunity that can provide up to $100,000 in funding to Lake Sammamish shoreline, single-family homeowners.

The money can be used to reduce flood damages to Lake Sammamish docks and other shoreline structures, while also providing erosion control and salmon habitat improvements.
