$6M in grants for water quality

SEATTLE — The King County Wastewater Treatment Division has two grant funding opportunities available this summer for projects that improve water quality in the areas served by the county's regional wastewater system.

A total of $1.6 million is available from the WaterWorks Council track program. Proposals can request between $10,000 and $200,000. Funded projects will likely start in early 2026. Applications are being accepted now through July 29.
