SEATTLE — The Port of Seattle has issued a draft determination of non-significance for the industrial wastewater treatment plant (IWTP) enhancement project at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
The treatment plant is part of the airport's wastewater system and was originally built in the early 1960s to treat fuel spills. The port says that, over time, it has been improved to increase capacity and to allow segregation of wastewater.
