EPA job grants for AK, WA groups

SEATTLE — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded $698,480 in Brownfields Job Training Grants to two organizations in Alaska and Washington.

Alaska Forum Inc. will receive $480,500 to train 100 students in environmental and cleanup-related skills, while the Kalispel Tribe of Indians will receive $217,980 to train 36 students and create 32 environmental jobs.
