AAA, Greenway Trust win $10,000

SEATTLE — The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust announced last week that it has won a $10,000 Make More Happen award, in partnership with AAA Insurance Agency Washington.

AAA says this award will expand the ongoing support it provides the greenway's trust in volunteer recruitment, restoring ecological areas and salmon recovery, extending youth education and green-career pathways, and amplifying underrepresented voices within the Mountains to Sound Greenway National Heritage Area — a 1.5-million-acre national heritage area between Seattle and Ellensburg.
