State sees its 4th drought in a row

OLYMPIA — Yesterday, the state Department of Ecology issued a drought declaration for all of Washington state due to low snowpack and multiple years of low rainfall.

This is the state's fourth drought declaration in a row — a record under the current drought framework established in 1989.
