PSE signs Klickitat wind power deal

BELLEVUE — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) announced Tuesday it had signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Avangrid for a wind energy project in Klickitat County in southern Washington.

The 199.5 megawatt-capable Big Horn I wind project will contribute about 12% toward PSE's remaining need to meet its 2030 clean energy targets, generating enough energy to power about 70,000 homes annually.
