Flooding assistance deadline soon

RENTON — Gov. Bob Ferguson and other officials on Wednesday encouraged Washingtonians affected by December's historic flooding to apply for federal assistance by the June 10 deadline.

Three types of federal assistance are available, all unlocked following the president's April 11 approval of Ferguson's request for a Major Disaster declaration.
