Clean buildings projects get $30M energy boost

Central Washington University’s GeoEco Plant is a very visible part of its efforts to shift to low-carbon campus energy.

The state Department of Commerce announced Tuesday new awards of nearly $30 million to help building owners renovate 464 facilities to meet the Clean Buildings Performance Standard.
