Quigg Bros. wins $7M park upgrade

MERCER ISLAND — The city of Mercer Island has tapped Quigg Bros. of Aberdeen to upgrade the Luther Burbank Park waterfront.

The notice ran in the DJC on Wednesday. Quigg Bros. had a $6.7 million bid for the contractor job replacing the aging 1970s piers and docks along Lake Washington in northeast Mercer Island at 2040 84th Ave. S.E.
