Hope Heart Institute

The Hope Heart Institute has appointed Peter M. Penna, Pharm. D. and Andy Stergachis, R.Ph., Ph.D. as vice presidents of pharmaceutical research. Penna was a consultant in managed care. Stergachis, who also serves as an affiliate professor of pharmacy and epidemiology at the University of Washington and senior pharmacy advisor for drugstore.com., was most recently chairman of the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Washington. The Seattle institute is a nonprofit organization involved in cardiovascular research, prevention and education.
