PAE Consulting Engineers has two certified LEED accredited professionals on staff: mechanical principal, Paul Schwer, and mechanical designer, Conrad Brown.

Schwer has 17 years of mechanical design experience including heating, ventilation and air conditioning, piping, energy studies and smoke control. He has designed mechanical systems for a number of private and public buildings both nationally and internationally. His designs have included energy efficient local and central air handling systems, as well as central utility plants using co-generation systems, heat recovery chillers, and variable speed pumping systems.

Brown has 10 years of mechanical design experience in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing and fire protection. He has designed systems for education, commercial, health care and advanced technology facilities. His skills include coordination and interaction with project team members throughout the design and construction phases, computer energy modeling and overall project management. Brown's sustainable projects include Oregon State Fair and Exposition Pavilion, King County Terminal Building and Tualatin Valley Water District.
