State Department of Information Services

Gov. Gary Locke named Michael McVicker as the state's interim chief information officer and interim director of the Department of Information Services. He will earn an annual salary of $112,000. McVicker worked on strategic planning of a statewide telecommunication network. He replaces Stuart McKee who will join Microsoft as a national technology officer.
