Super-fast Wi-Fi set for Alaska Airlines

SEATTLE — Yesterday, Alaska Airlines announced it will upgrade the Wi-Fi systems on its fleet of E175 regional jets to a new streaming-fast satellite service.

The airline is partnering with Intelsat to install the company's newest satellite Wi-Fi technology. The upgrades are estimated to cost $25 million.
