Washington gets cybersecurity boost

By JOURNAL STAFF

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In the wake of the Seattle Public Library Hack, the Washington state Department of Commerce has been awarded $15.9 million in federal funding to boost cybersecurity and digital literacy.

The money comes from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration's Digital Equity Capacity Grant Program.
