SEATTLE — Seattle Public Theater is offering a holiday double header through Dec. 24: the old favorite “Christmastown: A Holiday Noir” directed by Kelly Kitchens, and a newly commissioned work “The Flight Before Xmas” by local playwright Maggie Lee.
The theater is at 7312 W. Green Lake Drive North in Seattle. Tickets are at seattlepublictheater.org
Seattle Public calls “The Flight Before Christmas” a heartwarming show about finding your way home and the family we discover for ourselves. It looks at what happens to a group of people who spend Christmas Eve stranded in an airport with a bunch of strangers.
“Christmastown: A Holiday Noir” is a holiday thrilller by Seattle playwright Wayne Rawley. Hard-boiled detective Nick Holiday investigates some shenanigans taking place in Christmastown.
Seattle Public produces shows, and also offers education program and community events.
