R&B Hall of Fame headed to small Mississippi Delta town

The National Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame is the culmination of a 50-year effort to build a hall of fame for musicians such as James Brown, Aretha Franklin and B.B. King. Organizers are aiming to complete the building in two or three years.

JACKSON, Miss. — A small town in the Mississippi Delta that has ties to the civil rights movement will soon be home to the National Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame.
