After Hours: SAM spotlights two sculptors

“Following Space: Thaddeus Mosley & Alexander Calder” is part of the multiyear “Calder at SAM” initiative exploring the modern artist’s legacy.

SEATTLE — Pittsburgh-based sculptor Thaddeus Mosley will be the subject of one of his largest exhibitions to date at the Seattle Art Museum. “Following Space: Thaddeus Mosley & Alexander Calder,” on display Nov. 20–June 1, will examine these two innovative artists in dialogue for the first time, focusing on their distinct approaches to movement, weight, and time.
