NEW YORK CITY — The American Kennel Club has launched its second National Art Contest, inviting young artists between the ages of 5 and 18 to showcase their creativity.
The theme for the 2025 contest is “Dog Shows,” encouraging participants to explore the subject through drawings, paintings, and mixed media. Artwork will be judged in four age brackets, with criteria including creativity, theme relevance, and overall quality. Finalists in each group will be featured in an online exhibition, and the winning pieces will be displayed at the AKC Museum of the Dog in New York City.
