America embracing RV travel this Labor Day, survey finds

As costs rise in traditional travel sectors, more Americans are choosing RVs not just for vacations, but as a lifestyle that allows them to slow down and control their itineraries.

In the 2006 comedy RV, Robin Williams captured the chaos and charm of hitting the road in a rolling home, from mishaps at campgrounds to family bonding on the highway. Nearly twenty years later, Americans are proving the film's premise still rings true. This Labor Day, more than 7.4 million people are planning RV trips, a jump from last year, as travelers embrace the freedom, comfort, and flexibility RVing offers.
