‘Suffs' premieres at 5th Avenue

SEATTLE — The first national tour of “Suffs,” the Tony Award-winning musical about the American women's suffrage movement, will open at The 5th Avenue Theatre, running Sept. 13–27.

Created by Shaina Taub, “Suffs” debuted on Broadway in 2024 and won multiple Tony Awards, Drama Desk Awards, and the Outer Critics' Circle Award for Best New Musical. The show depicts the triumphs and challenges of the suffragists who fought for the right to vote in the early 20th century.
