Banned Books Week at Seattle Library

SEATTLE — The Seattle Public Library will mark Banned Books Week, Oct. 5–11, with a series of free programs, displays, and events highlighting the freedom to read and the impact of censorship.

The Library's Green Lake Branch will host a community read-in on Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants are invited to bring their own banned or challenged books, or select from titles provided by librarians.
