Silverwood merging with Dollywood firm

ATHOL, Idaho — Herschend Family Entertainment Corp. has signed an exclusive term sheet to acquire Silverwood Theme Park, marking a major transition for the Pacific Northwest's largest theme and water park.

The move would bring Silverwood into Herschend's portfolio destinations such as Dollywood and Silver Dollar City.
