SEATTLE — KUOW and The Seattle Public Library will present a new season of the “KUOW Book Talks Live” series at the Central Library from February through May. Hosted by KUOW Book Club curator Katie Campbell, the monthly events feature conversations with Pacific Northwest authors about recent books selected as KUOW Book Club picks.
The series begins Feb. 26 with historian Coll Thrush, who will discuss “Wrecked: Unsettling Histories from the Graveyard of the Pacific.” On March 23, writer and artist Sasha taqwš?blu LaPointe will speak about her essay collection, “Thunder Song.” Seattle-based writer Molly Olguín follows on April 23 with “The Sea Gives Up the Dead,” a short story collection, and Seattle author Sonora Jha will conclude the series May 21 with a discussion of her novel, “Intemperance.”
