Jazz as protest at Benaroya

SEATTLE — Music of Remembrance will present “Echoes of Conscience” on March 15 at Benaroya Hall, marking the organization's first concert to center jazz as a core element of its programming.

The 3 p.m. performance brings together classical and jazz works shaped by artists who created under political pressure, with world premiere choreography by Donald Byrd anchoring the program.
