Spend Mother's Day at botanical garden

FEDERAL WAY — The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden will host its annual Mother's Day Weekend celebration May 9–10, inviting visitors to explore 22 acres of spring color at peak bloom.

The two-day event features an art market with local vendors, food trucks and a plant sale highlighting rare and unusual botanicals from the garden's onsite nursery. Guests can stroll through 13 distinct garden features showcasing one of the world's largest collections of rhododendron species.
