Shop locally before World Cup

SEATTLE — A group of downtown Seattle small businesses will host a public open house at Pacific Place on June 6, days before the FIFA World Cup arrives.

The Downtown Seattle Small Business Collective's “Summer Social” will feature 11 independent businesses and one nonprofit offering activities, shopping and a passport-style experience with prizes. Activities include block printing, button making, tea blending and mini-brick building.
