Schweitzer kicks off summer

SANDPOINT, Idaho — Schweitzer Mountain Resort opens its summer season June 13-14 with expanded mountain biking, a new food truck and a lineup of outdoor events.

The resort resumes daily operations June 19. New this season are the Schwagon food truck, an expanded five-week youth mountain bike camp and a new fleet of Rossignol rental bikes. Schweitzer will also offer weekend shuttle service for riders tackling a 12-mile descent from the summit.
