Sun Peaks Bike Festival Aug. 28-30

SUN PEAKS, B.C. — Peaks Pedal Fest returns to Sun Peaks Resort Aug. 28-30 with three days of mountain biking events, competitions, demonstrations and live entertainment.

The festival includes the Sun Peaks Junior DH, an Aug. 28-29 downhill race for riders ages 8 to 16; the Summer Stoke Series pump track race; an XC scavenger hunt; the Toyota Pacific Downhill Thrill, featuring complimentary shuttles on Mount Morrisey; the Grass Dual Slalom; and the Foot Down Derby. Demo Days and live DJs also are scheduled.
