Fall events at Seattle libraries

SEATTLE — The Seattle Public Library will host free author talks and literary events throughout September and October, featuring writers including Yann Martel, Sara Novic, David Montgomery and Douglas Stuart. Registration is required for many events.

The schedule begins Sept. 10 with Seattle writer Daniel Tam-Claiborne's “Diaspora & Belonging” series at the Douglass-Truth Branch. The Central Library will host the Seattle kickoff of the Jaipur Literature Festival Sept. 18 with “Life of Pi” author Yann Martel.
