Pioneer Square gets new festival

SEATTLE — A new four-day music festival will bring 58 artists to six stages in Pioneer Square and downtown areas Nov. 5-8.

Baba Obscura, a collaboration between Pioneer Square venue Baba Yaga and organizers of the former Desert Daze festival in Southern California, will feature garage, psychedelic, punk and other rock acts. The lineup includes The Black Angels, Provoker, Mdou Moctar, The Gories, Black Mountain, Rose City Band, Naked Giants and several Seattle-area artists.
