Northwest film showcase Sept. 18-27

SEATTLE — The 29th annual Local Sightings Film Festival will run Sept. 18-27 at Northwest Film Forum, featuring independent films, short-film programs, workshops, panels and special events by filmmakers from throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Presented by Seattle's Northwest Film Forum, the festival will include a competitive selection of regional short and feature films. The 2026 lineup includes feature films such as “Dad Genes,” “Beau Ideal,” “Life in the Sound” and “The Life We Leave,” along with short-film programs covering experimental films, queer cinema and other subjects.
