SEATTLE -- The Frye Art Museum is presenting a major retrospective for Boston native Allan Crite, one of the most under-recognized African American artists of the twentieth century. The Boston Globe referred to him as the "dean of African Americans artists in Boston and perhaps in the whole nation."
