Preschoolers from Lord of Life Church experienced the joy of catching their first fish recently during a field trip to Springbrook Trout Farm.

RENTON -- Springbrook Trout Farm is much more than a place to catch trout -- it's also a place for youngsters to learn a little about fish habitat in a natural setting. The trout farm, which is located one mile south of Valley Medical Center at 19225 Talbot Road S., will also clean the fish after they're caught. (You pay by the inch.) Kids will enjoy the trout farm's other amenities as well: two play areas, a tree house, swings, a gazebo and a picnic area. The trout farm is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays, and from 10 a.m. to dusk Wednesday through Sunday.
