SEATTLE -- The Museum of Flight goes Hollywood with its new exhibition, "2001: Building for Space Travel," which opens Saturday, Dec. 15, and runs through Sunday, May 12.

The opening day festivities will be attended by Gene Young, a model maker for special-effects laden films such as "Armageddon," "Back to the Future" and "Total Recall," and the TV series "Babylon 5." Young will take part in a family workshop at 10:30 a.m. and give a special presentation at 2 p.m.
